How Pet Vet Came to Be…
Pet Vet Animal Hospital was started in 1997 by Dr. Rebecca J. Morrison(Bockelman). Upon graduating from the University of Missouri Veterinary College in May of 1997, Dr. Rebecca returned to her home town to take over the practice from Dr. Gail Kroenke. Dr. Kroenke had begun the clinic more than 50 years before. Dr. Rebecca had worked for Dr. Kroenke since 1988 while in high school and then when she could during college. For Dr. Rebecca’s internship she worked for a 6 doctor practice in Littleton, Colorado and then at a 4 doctor practice in Gilbert, Arizona. Dr Rebecca was thrilled to be able to take what she has learned at these clinics and apply it to this practice in the town she lived most of her life.
